Hay muchas cosas que el cristiano no puede saber respecto a la voluntad de Dios para su vida, pero de lo que no cabe duda es del amor incondicional que Dios nos demanda hacia el prójimo. Lo vemos a través del Antiguo Testamento, Jesús lo reafirmó en el Nuevo Testamento, y este principio es la médula espinal del Cristianismo.

El Evangelio de Lucas 15:23-24 dice: «Traed el becerro gordo y matadlo, y comamos y hagamos fiesta, porque este hijo mío estaba muerto y ha revivido; se había perdido y lo hemos encontrado.» Esa es la esencia de la gracia de Dios y de su perdón incondicional, que además de olvidar, produce gozo cuando un pecador se arrepiente.

There are many things that the Christian cannot know about God's will for his life, but what is certainly true is the God's demand for us of unconditional love toward our neighbor. We see it throughout the Old Testament, Jesus reaffirmed it in the New Testament, and this principle is the backbone of the Christianity.

The Gospel of Luke 15:23-24 says: "Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found." That is the essence of God's grace and unconditional forgiveness, that besides forgetting, produces joy when a sinner repents.
